Replicating Henri Prestes Style

No.4178613 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
Henri Prestes is without a doubt my favorite photographer and I wanted some ideas on how to replicate/mimic his style.
I'm not that experienced in photo editing, outside of just tweaking raw files slightly, but I'm willing to learn new software.

His images are all blurry yet surprisingly sharp, with incredible use of fog, rain and snow. Many are heavy on chromatic aberrations nearing the edges of the frame, contributing to the aesthetic.

On an interview with MPB he said he mainly uses a Nikon D850 and a Nikon 35mm f2 AF-D, though he uses other lenses that were not mentioned.
Any of you know any lenses, vintage or not, that could produce similar optical characteristics?
