I got my mom a Kodak Ektar H35 around Thanksgiving and she really loves it. She hasn't messed around with photography since high school in the 70s, minus some crappy phone photography, which is what influenced me to get the camera for her. She's taken hundreds of photos with it on trips, around town, and of the family. The limitations of the $45 camera is starting to show, and I want to get her something better for her birthday next month.

It needs to be
>35mm (She bought a bunch in bulk, and I want her to be able to use the film she already has)
>have adjustable focus
>have adjustable shutter speed
>be small enough to carry in a small purse or backpack
>easy to use
>have a price at or under $200
>available new (or easily findable in good condition used)
>not suck

What are my options? Are there any? I have until June 19th to get it for her, but would also like to find something sooner because she is heading out on a trip two days later. I want to try and give her a week or more to get familiar with it, and take the film that she uses to our local photography shop to get some test pictures developed so she can dial it in.
