So after raining why does the green of plants, trees and grass look so much better? And why do flower petals look so much more intensive in colour? It feels like a great occasion to take a pic but alas i didnt bring my camera

Why would any of this matter when you can just edit your raw file and adjust the colours.

Photography is not about capturing reality. A camera will never be able to reproduce what a human's eye sees. Photography is just a medium for talentless people who are too lazy to learn how to paint and draw.

Take photo, adjust sliders so your flower petals are more vibrant, dodge and burn areas for maximum reality reproducing and you have art!

Your eyes and camera both have somewhat inaccurate auto white balance which changes the way colors look in different lighting conditions ie overcast, sunny

white balance is the single most important factor in color
