a old guy was selling his 16mm projector and home movies from the 40s and 50s in color so now I have 23 400' rolls and 15 100' rolls of footage from all over america right after wwii, some of it i've seen is pretty cool like LA in 1946 in color.
a few rolls have heavy vinegar syndrome issues and are warped at the sprocket edges. they still play but cannot keep a consistent focus.
i was told to try https://thenegative.space/ for best scan prices, but Im guessing my only other alternative is recording a projector screen in ideal lighting and capture conditions right?
