>>4182675>Being poor has limited your perspective. Not being thrifty has limited yours. There's barely used stuff being sold at heavily discounted rates just because of buyer's remorse, recent stuff. Lots of people treat no-questions-asked 30-day returns as free rentals.
>Imagine being a communist You don't have to be a communist to not want to give your hard earned money to a company that sees its customers as cash cows to be milked dry the way Canon does. It's not Pentax with their circular economy approach to things, Canon literally ships junk at the bottom tiers. Junk that's only meant to get you to spend more after you get frustrated enough with it, they go out of their way to cripple the stuff. They're not alone in this, Sony is even worse and Nikon does it too.
>All the major brands perform well enough to do professional work. Nothing "performs poorly"You're correct, however some Canon models use subpar sensors. The 4000D is a shameful example of a sensor that didn't belong in its era, I don't know about this one.
>L glass is not terrible you're just some brand tribalist that gets off from being madThat is patently obvious, that guy hates Canon as much as I hate Fuji and probably as a reaction. Little does he know I hate Canon too at some level, but they made some awesome products in the past that I enjoy and save for the T7 and T100 the entire reflex lineup today is good. I'll never forgive them for getting rid of Magic Lantern though.
