So, my camera just fucking exploded. Had one of those cheap Neewer battery grips attached. I managed to act quickly and put out the fire, without any damage to anything but the camera (and potentially the lens - it seems fine, but haven't tested it yet). I see no need to call the fire department.

So now it's just chilling on my balcony (pic related - taken with my phone because, you know... sadness). Put it in a bucket of water after snapping the pic, just in case.

It's 3:30 AM and I doubt I'll be getting any sleep after this shit. Feel free to ask questions or call me an idiot or whatever. General battery thread, I guess. Avoid cheap batteries and power accessories.
