>>4183151No I'm not. That's a copycat who missed the point of the nickname. I'm the Canon-shooting anon, get it? It only makes sense with Canon, (Konica) Hexanon and (Bronica) Zenzanon. If I shot Nikon instead I'd probably go by some different name. Probably whatever camera model I had with "nikkor" appended to the end. I actually own a Nikkor so maybe I could go with something cheeky like 1DXnikkor. There's lots to unpack in such a name. It's 1D X and at the same time it's Nikon 1 and DX (which would be a contradiction, because Nikon 1 is CX, but that just adds to the layers). Then there's the obvious slur that resembles Nikkor phonetically. But I prefer cANON. If I shot Pentax I'd probably go by K, which was my nickname for a pentaxian friend who no longer posts here.
If I owned a Exakta, Reflekta, Minolta or similar cameras I'd go by exaktANON/reflexktANON/minoltANON. It's a game of phonetics for me. I wouldn't go by konicANON or bronicANON if I had those because hexANON and zenzANON are just superior variants despite the brands ending in A.
