How about you recommend ACTUAL photographers and not those YouTube 'popular,' failed-wannabes that resorted to YouTube/Instagram to attract clients because their photography was too shit to attract clients without it. Recommending literally anyone who posts on YouTube is only good if the person you're recommending that trash to, is learning the very basics.
For anything more advanced like color matching and color types, contrast control, lighting and lighting types, styling (if doing portraits/fashion), angles vs. composition or anything similar... For all that, you better recommend to go research actual photographers and their art and pray that they have written a book or two or maybe that there's a video or two of them on YouTube or maybe even that they have a YouTube channel...
Once you actually put in 10, 15 or more years of your life in photography, you start to realize just how shit and basic photography from people like Manny Ortiz, Laura, Pierre T. Lambert, James Popsys, Matt Granger and MANY, MANY others are... And then you also realize; ''No wonder they ended up doing YouTube.''
If you already know your way around the camera, compositions and so on, just save your self some time and skip watching these YouTube... I mean, 'photographers' and go look up actual photographers, based on whatever interests you - people/portraits/fashion, automotive, fine art, product, landscape, whatever... Go look up people like; e.g. Roger Deakins, Paul Reiffer, Yulia Gorbachenko, Gemmy Woud, Geoff Ang, Peter Coulson, Michael Muller, Morten Hilmer so on and so forth... Don't bother with YouTube recommended trash.
