Actual photographers with brains do what they need to do to get the shot, including using graduated ND filters because even precious LF portra with it's eighty trillion stops of DR still needs extra tools in the most contrasty scenes. That is, at least, if you're trying to seriously nail the exposure and histogram without needing to recover so much in post.
