>Finish semester of photography as an elective in college
>Finally getting to the point where I can get a decent image here and there
>Almost nothing like most people here but getting slightly ahead of the layman
>Point is that my grandma’s brother was a photographer
>She’s been very nostalgic and a little whimsically somber as I’ve improved
>Sees me around with my camera and shit
>Can tell it means a lot to her because her brother was always behind a camera according to her
>She recently gave me an old black and white print of a photo he took when she was young
>The sole existing photo of her family (minus camera brother, obviously)
>They were poor so its about 3in by 3in
>In pretty good shape- not crunchy or cracked like OP pic- just an old picture
>I’d really like to do my best to restore, sharpen, and/or colorize the image for her and get it printed as large as I can.
>Have access to full Photoshop and Lightroom including the Photoshop beta
>How do I do this the best was possible?
Obviously, I can just ask google or a chatbot but most of the people who write photography or image processing articles don’t know shit about dick. I want to get some advice from somebody who knows their shit. This means a lot to me because this grandma is the absolute best anybody could ever ask for.
