Opinions on the Camp Snap? I just ordered one to take to Burning Man so I don't have to expose my good gear to the dust, but I'm generally excited about the potential of a reusable digital "disposable" camera.

arguably the simplicity is what makes it a nicer experience than trying to deal with some shitty early 2000's interface. Also low light performance is almost definitely worse on older point and shoots.

I will admit the dude making them is a bit of a dork but in a cute way lol. It doesn't feel like as much of a hipster grift as some of the other "new-retro" cameras on the market

I saw this thread and liked the concept of this camera. Was not aware of it before. Since the camera is cheap I bought one.
The OP didn't post pictures yet, so here are some.
Indoors its not the greatest. Outside with good lighting its fun.

Things that would make the camera a lot better:
When pressing the shutter button, there is about a 2 second delay till the picture is taken.
The LED "flash" is pretty much useless. If this camera would have a real flash, it would make it a lot better to use indoors and it would also give it that old school vibe.
These improvements would also make sure that their target marked, kids who just snap away, would get better results.

No, there is no raw option. Just JPEG straight out of camera. No post processing.

use a fixed lens compact or a prime lens with an interchangeable body camera. put a cheap clear filter on the lens. wrap the whole thing in HEAVY saran wrap several layers, leaving only the lens front not wrapped (it's covered by the cheap filter). now, you are reasonably certain that dust will not make it in to your camera.
