so at my work we use this camera, but nowadays it keeps giving me a message of "invalid" and I can't change anything including the shutter speed, ISO, Gain etc...

Manual says that INVALID means "operation is disabled" and you should "operate after the operation becomes enabled". Very descriptive shit right there.
