Alright anons, help me out here:
I have a Nikon D750 and I've been itching to try a Tamron 45mm f/1.8. Actually I've been wanting to try something in the 40-45mm range for a while now, due to how I feel about both 50mm (too tight) and 35mm (too wide). The Sig 40mm ART is way too big and heavy to be considered.
I've read that this lens gets hella purple fringing wide-open though I don't plan on shooting wide-open in bright or contrasty light.
I've read a report or two on focus or the VC hanging up. Disconcerting but probably not widespread.
Your thoughts and experiences?
