Not quite, with everything in focus you need a special lens, otherwise you need separation

yeah because you have a foreground rock layer and a background rock layer giving perception of depth... image still looks flat overall though because real 3D separation happens in the mid-ground.

Somewhat but not that much, perhaps it has too much resolution-rich details to discerned properly
Maybe in a big print it might do the trick

It for sure looks much better on my 4k screen compared to my 2k screen. I guess the medium is very important.

Thumbnail looks nice, the blur ruins an otherwise nice snap however.

I'm not really seeing any more 3D separation than OPs pic, or perhaps a bit less if I was pressed on the matter.
