>>4201401>Thanks for posting a photo, I didn't read the rest of your post. Not that it's a bad photo, but it looks like a photo I can take with my iPhone to send to my mom, and if that's the best photo you've taken then I doubt anyone can learn anything from you.and it's bad how? you can't say. i get it. you take pictures of building corners and cars. lol. i undersharpened it when exporting but thats ok, don't pixel peep.
you see, a photo of a dog is on the artistic level of fashion editorials. unlike the average photographer, you are working with a living subject, a model, and one who does not speak fluent english or human. rule #1 of portraiture is to chose a beautiful model. check. rule #2 is to direct the scene to achieve your vision. because she's a husky, i wanted her on a line and harness, it fits her character as a sled dog, and to emphasize how cute she is and that she's a snow dog, i placed pieces of cheese under the snow to get some snow on her nose. then i had her lay down and scratched her head to get her to look more content, and there you go. the light was just right with the sun coming over the trees early in the morning, so focus on the eyes and take a couple of pictures (including one where she was looking at the sunrise, i printed that one)
a few touch ups in capture one to get the look just right and here we are. a cute picture of a husky with snow on her nose looking like she's taking a nap after running around (when she wasn't, she's lazy as fuck).
you don't take a photograph
you MAKE it
i await your work fujislug bro. let's hope it's not a building corner or a car k3k
