>>4200829The a6400 is a really good camera and if it's your first one is as good it's almost an overkill.
20-70 f4 it's surelly a nice lens, but IMHO f4 it's a limitation if you wanna start learning photography (no prob if you would be more experienced). On the other hand, if you are interested in landscapes traveling and hiking, portability would be an issue and a large lens is not ideal.
I have an a6400 for the very same usecase, and I really like my 20mm f2.8 pancake. I also have weird lenses like the samyang 12mm and the 7artisans 7.5mm. I usually bring with me one or two of those lenses and I'm really happy with the results.
Sometimes, especially if I'm not traveling alone and there are people to take snapshots, I use the dirty 55-210mm that's insanely cheap second hand.
To be honest I'd like to put my hands on a Sony 16-55 f2.8 as a general purpose and high quality lens, but I don't think I will love it more than my other lenses expecially due to portability issues (it's aroung half a kilo).
As a bottom line: the body is fine, but instead of buying an expensive premium lens, go for two ar three cheap ones, a couple of primes and a dirty zoom. You will be able to stay under 500, learn a lot and resell them once you are ready. And you will probably never need to go FF in your case.
