For a variety of reasons that should be obvious, telephoto lenses require longer shutter times which introduce blur. The magnified image itself is more prone to being blurred by movement. Now maybe you can figure the rest out.

A rifle is designed in such a way as to make it easy to hold steady, a camera by default is not. Imagine trying to accurately fire a rifle if it was simply a barrel connected to a box and was actuated by pressing a little button on the right. Ignore the fact that it's going to kick you in the face but that's what using a telephoto handheld is like.
