I have done a little research on the vintage minolta lenses. Seems to me like they have not experienced the "hipster tax" like with other brands even though they are in many ways superior. I heard one theory that this is because they are difficult to adapt to the ef-mount which is what has been used by many video camera manufacturers, but is there more to this story?
