To preface, ive owned all these cameras.
The nikon F photomic is big, chonky, not worth the weight over the functionality considering the nikkormat FTn does everything the F does.
If you love aperture priority, deffo get an FE2, they do everything the F3 does, also at a much lower weight and pigfat status, im even gonna go out and call them light.
And if you wanna go cheap, the f301 is your friend, because it does it all with a plastic body and no meme tax.
For automation, everyone swoons over the F4, but the F801 does everything the F4 does at, you guessed it, a fraction of the weight and size.
Basically there are so many awesome flagships but most of the time the enthusiast model will do you better.
Thats my logical opinion to which camera to actually buy and which should stay being dream cameras.
But if my heart would choose.. F3 any day of the week.
