Who the fuck would want to be a wedding photographer? I've never once heard anyone photographer or otherwise talk about how much they love weddings and have a deep interest in them aside from their own. Most people I've talked to think weddings are awful and resent the social obligation of attended them, let alone have it be something they are earnestly passionate about. Yet there are thousands of wedding photographers. Is the truth really just as simple as
>I want to be paid to take photos and I don't care what of.
Why would you even want to photograph something you have no passion for? Do you think there is a single sports photographer who doesn't love the sport they shoot?

I understand portrait photography, human beings are interesting subjects. I understand event photography, you get to go to fun, high energy places and see cool stuff. Wedding photography is the worst aspects of both. It's people who look the same, going through the same motions in a boring and highly stressful event.

What the fuck is the appeal? Do they get to bang bridesmaids or something?
