I did the same yesterday, and while I really enjoyed strolling and snapping, In particular when viewed on a PC I've realized, my outcome was uninteresting and really bad quality except for thumbnail pictures.

I liked the juxtaposition of lines and architectural styles. The bottom half is always in shadows from the buildings giving it this natural gradient.

I wanted to make it a more interesting angle but that could have jeopardized the pigeons. I liked the sort of contrast of people on the bridge and birds on the railing, as well as the bird-like decor on the building in the back, almost designating that birds are supposed to sit there.

honestly this thread is so nice OP. loved all your pics, I use a phone camera too, and take city pics randomly. this is great though, mine is pretty shit lol.
I just need to get better at it, and probably upgrade my phone too, and also perhaps move to europe...

OP these are nice, if you can get a polarizing filter try using it on your lens with the sun or in the water, it will work with a single camera phone. When you spin it, some reflections disappear. It will also give more contrast.
