Not really. It doesn't even have dual pixel autofocus in live view. But the 6D II is great.
>>4210205It depends on what you shoot
Wildlife is at least 50% the camera, unless you are such an important photographer that you will get a pass to a solo trip to a game reserve with a trained heron and its trainer so multiple takes are on the table for when your ancient autofocus or manual focus results in misses.
Sports is at least 50% the camera, unless you are such an important photographer that the players have agreed to help you stage some dramatic scenes and let you get multiple takes in if manual focus/slow autofocus misses.
Events and journalism are often demanding of the camera because the action is also fast and unrepeatable, unless you are such an important photographer that people will agree to portraits, and you are not shooting protests/war or do so so furiously that at least some of your snapshits will turn out.
Most relevant to /p/: Cats and huskies do not like to do things repetitively even if it's murdering small animals, so you only have limited takes to rely on outdated autofocus or only manual focus. Maybe ya'll shoulda got german shepherds. Or maybe ya'll shoulda got a refurb canon R6.
Or. Realize canon developed dual pixel AF in live view and sony went mirrorless with CDAF+PDAF on sensor because most people would rather buy a camera once than suck dicks for life, and that is the reason they are the #1 camera brands while nikon, fujifilm, panasonic, and olympus are all competing for the itty bitty bottom and pentax is fucking dead. Yeah, I'm sure, some sony models have their hangups, but canon is the #1 camera brand that you see literally every pro use and that is for a reason, so just buy a canon. Now you don't have to cope, and rant about walking uphill both ways because you're "not a soi boy" or insist that shooting advertisements for perfurme companies is the only REAL photography.
