Even though it has its haters, I really like the Canon v10.

unironically does anyone "vlog" anymore? It hasn't been a mainstream thing on youtube for like a decade now. It seems like "vlog" and "content creation" are used interchangeably by both camera manufactorers and reviewers for some reason and this is not going to be good for content creation except maybe where you would have just used a go pro but dont need/want the wide angle

There are several sub-genres.
The talking head videos, the walkaround selfie videos, and moto vlogs. Former have no restrictions on what camera to use at all, web cam, smartphone, a real camera with hdmi out, anything goes. Latter niches are taken by action cameras and, to so extent, 360 view cameras. V10 doesn't really fit anywhere.

Not really, I have an a6300 perched on a table tripod permanently that I use for meetings and some streaming (talking head mode), but I don't record videos from it for further processing or anything.

It is better than a phone, I guess I could see a use for it as like a personal consent camera, for facebook moms or whatever to share trips they went on at a higher quality and I could also see if being used for like irl steaming, but not serious content creation

The Fuji x-s20 has a dedicated vlog setting on the dial, and it has a product placement AF mode in the settings. lol
