sure, the camera might not die but condensation is at least going to build up and start a rust spot on a mechanical part or tin whiskers on the circuit boards...
then i saw a youtube video of someone walking around in dense fog shooting with his a7RIV with all of the ports open to conenct it to some recorder for vloggers or something. predictably, it died, because the body literally had a gaping hole in it. and he said "ree im done with sony" (most any camera would die from that shit).
people are absolute fucking retards about "weather sealing" and don't seem to understand why today's splash proof and mildly waterproof phones are glued together, not screwed, and totally devoid of buttons, scroll wheels, and ports.
