Continiuous shooting problem on Olympus Af-10 Super

Hey, I just bought an Olympus Af-10 super and when I put batteries in it yesterday it seemed to work just fine. Today I went out and got a fresh pair of batteries and when I put them in the camera the flash and autofocus stopped working, and now everytime I go to take a photo the shutter opens and closes 4 times. Any thoughts?

you should stick to cameras from the 80s and 70s for guaranteed working parts
they cheaped out in the 90s

I fell for this meme camera too, it’s like supposed to be a cheap version of the good contax.
Turns out it’s just bad, my one also broke down very quickly.

Did you buy it on eBay?

I have had bad results buying film cameras on there.

I thrifted an AF-10 Super a while ago. Absolutely one of my favorite P&S I've shot. Works on 123 or AAA batteries. Amusingly chunky feel without being a behemoth. Makes the most beautiful shutter & advance sound.
And the pictures came out great too.
