Hey /p/
Can you guys suggest me 3-4 style of photos that would look good on a tinder profile.
Be descriptive, not just a general idea (outdoors, hobby, playing sports, that sort of stuff)

They show girls that you are a serious artistic photographer, not some test shotting sony wanker.

Also, tell them you used film.

Then you can graduate to taking photos of the front of peoples heads, but you have to buy a small camera like an X100v to do this, or they will notice and punch you in the face, and it has to be in a big city where people ignore each other, or they will notice and punch you in the face.

do you actually swipe right on those fakeass, filter plastered, acted out profile photos? If yes, go back and copy them, if not just take authentic portraits of yourself, even mix some phone selfies. Lightly edit them for contrast and exposure, no "cinematic" color grading unless you want to be one of "them".

But I don't want anything fake, filtered plastered, acted out profile. I also don't really know exactly what kind of photos guys have (never looked). Just wanted some ideas for setups that people might find interesting/approachable etc. I already have my main ones (portrait) and wanted to give the profile a bit more character

A girl once showed me tinder from a foid perspective. Other than the basics (be 8/10, fit, well groomed) these seemed to be the most common photos:
1) you in a suit at a wedding.
2) some white shirt dining photo on vacation in the Mediterranean looking into the camera with a plate of pasta in front of you
3) something indicating you traveled. Shirtless at a beach in Thailand or Costa Rica. Bali especially seemed popular among these type of people
4) something from a festival where you're obviously on drugs with your friends but you wear shades so nobody can tell
5) the worst ones but apparently they get you swiped: gym photo

This was like 90% of the profiles which would stand out

Nobody is looking for a good portrait on tinder. Your photos need context. Show you do cool things, attend the right stuff. It sounds lame because it is but it's what gets you liked.

Just choose them. Make a girl profile and see the cool spots by you. Even as a photographer it's easier to pay an expert for little touches they know, and if not ask a friend that does this stuff.
