I've been taking pictures since I was old enough to hold a camera. While I never grew up around photographers, I was raised by people who always took pictures. So, I've always taken pictures.

Who am I trying to impress? I never really considered that. Myself, I guess, since I'm my harshest critic. And I'm always working to improve. But, it would be dishonest to claim positive feedback from other photographers isn't good, too.
