>>4219025>tell me you've never even seen, let alone booked a high end shoot, without telling me...Portraiture, Fashion, Fine Art, Beauty, Commercial, Film & Cinema, Editorial... hell, we can even throw Nature, Wildlife, Sports, Weddings and similar fields into the equation as well... you name it. not a single famous - or not only famous but just about any aktschulally good photographer, in any of the aforementioned fields and beyond, is giving even the slightest bit of attention to anything else other than ISO, aperture, shutter speed and the god damn shutter button itself. maybe, just maybe they switch their focus to manual or from manual to single point, myself included. NOTHING. ELSE. MATTERS. IN. A. CAMERA. no matter which field you look at. ive been around more shoots of world wide famous togs than i can count. ive seen what they do and how they do it. never, ever, at any point in time, in the past 13 years, have i seen ANY photographer touch anything else other than shutter button, aperture and maybe, JUST MAYBE, change their ISO or shutter speed if they have to. havent even seen high end sports and motorsports togs fiddle other nonsensical, useless, consoomer marketing trick settings. not once.
when you get to a high end shoot, lets use portraiture as an example because its faster and easier to explain;
0. come to location
1. set up their camera, focus if on manual focus and ISO/aperture, then tether camera to laptop and monitors
2. fire a few test shots
3. correct exposure, comp, frame, etc.
4. directs her/his team to set up lighting
5. discuss and directs her/his team to set up everything to match colors
6. final preps of the model and shooting spot for the shoot
7. fire test shots again
8. adjust lighting again
9. get ready. do the shoot.
where exactly do you see a point that says ''fiddling with camera settings and nonsensical features?'' YOU DONT! BECUASE NOBODY ASIDE FROM WANNABE PROFESSIONALS AND CONSUMERS USES THEM!
