You may not like it but this is the truth. Blindly clicking 800 captures to save 4 and then heavily alter them in photoshop is not a sign of being a photographer.

So what? You think you are clever for figuring that out? Even famous photographers do the same. Same with musicians, they just pump out tonnes of crap hoping that something sticks.

The Stacey takes a couple of snaps and edits with an app.
The professional takes 100s of shots and does high level editing.

The thing that takes actual work gets paid for. Just turning up taking one snap and no editing get paid dream is pure fantasy.

A photographer is a person that likes taking pictures and does it.
You are just a guy that likes cameras and film.
A real photographer enjoys the process and the final product and maybe has preferences on what machines he uses but ultimately he will not go on to gearfag.
The artist enjoys the process and understands that the final product is as important as the process.
You can be an artist and a gearfag at the same time but invalidating others people work because they use different methods of capturing the wavelengths of photons is gay and retarded.
Plus if you are not a good photographer and you take a shitton of pics the "good ones" are just going to be mid.

You are not and artist you are just a person that is obsessed with the tools artists use. And that's okay. But know your place.
