Is there a such thing as a "cool photographer"? I used to think of us as creeps now I think of us as lifeless creeps that endlessly edit. Even if the photo is good the photographer isn't known or seen as cool. Nobody notices style besides other photographers. Look at all the movies with photographers all of them are creeps, like pretty baby and hard candy. It seems so easy to separate a photographer from their work because it's not like only this photographer could have done it. Who thinks of the Japanese photographer who shot the guy being stabbed? With phones the Abe shooting didn't even need a licensing agreement or a videographer/photographer name.
