I plan to start a ASMR YouTube channel of recording people on the Santa Monica Pier. The idea is that I'll be standing far away, so I'm looking for something that can zoom in from 100-200 feet while still having HD picture quality.

I'm as new as anyone can be when it comes to shopping for video cameras, so any info at all is appreciated.

I was looking at the Panasonic HC-VX1, its at the high end of my budget though, around $750. I'm hoping to find something similar in the $500-$600 range. any info/recommendations appreciated
