OP, I just throw my camera in the basket under my kid’s stroller and we go for a walk. I don’t think at any point have I ever experienced what you’re talking about. I just lean fully into the dadmode thing and it’s been fine.

Embrace your destiny and develop a sense of empathy for your fellow people that compels you to seek to win a better future for them, even if they currently can not realize it is a better future for them.
