What even is it? I cant figure it out, and everywhere I look for answers, im being told is basically how every YouTube video is shot these days.
Soft warm light/RGB in the background, soft light on face. Blurry background. And whatever is in focus is super sharp.
I absolutely hate this look.
It doesn't come off "cinematic". It comes off as basic YouTuber/every zoomer girls bedroom/something you'd see on 2/10 rated Netflix movies (which is 90% of them)
And b-roll is the same thing just filming random things and slow mo. don't forget the slow mo.
It never looks cinematic.
And I suspect its because of people filming with SLRs, SLR lenses etc (some don't, but their setup is based on their experiences with SLRs)
I see tips on cinematic lighting, filming etc, but it never looks the same.
Everything looks so low budget.
So of you must know the trick.
