>>4229330Sony, fuji, etc work fine in lightroom if you accept the following lie
"Raws always look dull with wrong colors because you haven't edited them yet"
But it's just that, a lie. Well made software is capable of providing an aesthetically pleasing starting point, minimizing the need to spend time with the software.
>inabilityA classic cope of computer nerds is that they didnt waste their time, they demonstrated superior intelligence that others clearly lack. In reality a literal child can learn how to use the software, but an adult would see it as a waste of time. It requires less intelligence than being a mechanic at a subaru dealer but any time you'd spend trying to beat a soulless pile of code into submission would be better spent learning an actual skill, rather than trying to fix bad colors.
It's related to time preference but with the time itself as currency. The dumb spend their time immediately on whatever comes up and call it honest work or a show of skill, the intelligent save their time for greater projects, which the dumb call being lazy despite the latters typically higher income.
Nothing in life is free however. Because adobe is nearly as incompetent as free software devs, anyone who IS competent will be in high demand, and therefore be able to charge more money if you want to keep more time. Not everyone receives the same amount of money for their time at work, so, people who receive little or no money for their time are looking at investing even more time to save time, making it zero sum for poorfags and the jobless.
