>>4232825This is a cheap PNS thread. A canon G point and shoot is absolutely NOT something you should ever spend $1000 on. If your budget goes up, canon G goes out the window, along with those disgusting dull skies and orange skin they're known for.
Anyone who pays more than $500 for a G7X, even a III, is truly a fool. That's already more expensive than a great nikon DX DSLR which will take higher quality photos with significantly better colors. If you are well off enough to budget for a better camera, do buy a better camera. Larger sensors do matter especially around the 1" and 4/3 level. 1" to APS-C is like going from a fuji xt3 to a hasselblad x2d.
