decent resolution is useful, my current one is pretty much the minimum, but minimum also works fine.
This is it:

You basically need to spend hours comparing basic specs and then decide what features you want. I don't trust the security of the wireless component in current small IOT devices, so got one without. But GPS would have been a smidge nicer just so the clock is always right.
For me: The clasp needed to be all metal. It needed automatic file recycling. Compression needed to be good quality, not just small and shitty IQ, but you really never know till you get it. The K3 bodycam is probably lower IQ than the S60, but it's not bad, and - impressively - its almost impossible to compress the h264 to be smalller than the K3 already does. Not sure about if i switch it to h265, because generally I avoid h265 on my pc due to its higher playback load. And the mic needs to be exposed to the outside of the case, so it can actually pick up speech from a few metres away, the K3 does, S60 didnt until i drilled a couple of 2mm holes.
A USB2 cradle is fine for charging and download. Probably want USB3 for 4K/8K cams though. A removable SD/battery is moot for this use-case. 128GB is enough record time, and the battery is a standard flatpack Li-ion i can get at with a screwdriver if it dies.
