I have sony, canon, nikon, olympus, zeiss, voigtlander, and leica lenses. ALL of these have dramatically different colors. It's not just the color cast being warm, cold, greener, or pinker, it's about color transitions and complex coating formulas having peaks and valleys in what light they block from ever making it into your camera. It matters 5000x more than your camera body, ie: you have shit colors? Is it because you shoot sony?
No it is because you shoot sony, with sony, tamron, and sigma lenses, instead of voigtlander, zeiss, leica, canon, and nikon lenses. Sony, tamron, and sigma coatings are SHIT which is why you rarely see any serious pros (GOOD PHOTOGRAPHERS CARE ABOUT 3XC: COMPOSITION, CONTENT, AND COLOR) using them. Even on sony cameras, it's rarely a sony lens unless they are desperate for autofocus performance and higher burst rates.
You literally can not edit in light that was filtered out by the coatings on the glass. It's not possible. if some color was lost, and fucked the magenta-beige transitions in your skin tones, IT IS NOT COMING BACK. It's not your camera, that's just a bunch of RGB squares. It's your fucking lens.
