Good that you asked or I would have made a thread soon enough.
I am also looking for a good HDR and Focus Stacking programm that will combine the RAW files.

My camera can do HDR for JPG and OEM Software can do stacking for JPG.
Don't understand why not also for RAW. Is it resource intensive process?

camera raw can now edit in HDR mode and output AVIF hdr file. it looks interesting on hdr screen (like ipad 12.9)

It doesn't even need multi bracket exposures.
Just pushing single raw give really nice results

Luminance HDR is free. It was quite unstable on when I last tried it many years ago but usable.

That's just a fresh histogram. Photos act the same whether they're in hdr or in normal container, only difference are displays. You need different editing to get the most out of them, but you can get the same results in any high bit format to achieve them.

Because it's no longer a RAW. It's now two (or more) images layered together. A RAW is near-direct sensor output.

If you're talking about some in-camera HDR format, then some of those are supported outside of the manufacturer's garbage software, but even then, you're at best looking at something like bitmaps being layered and not RAW output.
