I've noticed that this "no one gives a fuck about you and your work" mindset / culture has been on the rise lately and I honestly wonder where all this cynicism is coming from.

People reach out to me asking to buy my prints all the time (and I happen to be as mediocre as the rest of you)... On the other hand, I can name a fuckton social media nobodies whose work I genuinely enjoy and look forward to seeing more of.

I wonder how an average /p/ user feels about this subject.
