>>4255860>Cameras>Stealth wealth>Wealth, at allthey're a middle class flex for the underachieving couldabeen sausage party at best, like omega watches, gibson guitars, and harley davidson motorcycles. doing this gearfag shit adds absolutely nothing to your life but a misplaced sense of satisfaction and membership in a club that includes socially challenged construction foremen and middle aged suburbanites who work for google. might as well buy snap on tools. in fact, tools are a great analogy. geeks and boomers stock the best and never use them. they have blue collar capital power if you are a hard worker and know how to use them, but are limited in their association with success.
all social value in owning a camera only applies to total fuckwits AKA forum gearfags, hardware geeks, pixel peepers, yknow
anything that even looks like a flex in cameras only does so because it's loosely associated with something ie: hanging out with celebs, that you cant approach just by buying it, and that only other nerds know that much about anyways, so it's totally pointless.
No one respects the camera you HAVE AND USE, they respect the camera you HAVE TO USE. for instance a typical wedding photographer with a a9iii receives the same amount of woah as one with a 5div because they're fucking wedding photographers. and no one whose opinion matters knows that much about cameras beyond how professional they look and that your very awesome and respectable clientele finds them satisfactory.
