-1: Possible common domestic animal photography mistakes (photographer is moving to keep their attention, you cant do this)
Might not be the best lens
The horn isn't in focus, the face is. Why are you pixel peeping something that's probably leaning back to go 5 inches out of the plane of focus anyways? What is in focus does look a bit bad, but you should have been looking at the face. Pixel peeper error.
ISOs higher than 3200 FF (1600APS/800MFT/4800 DX MF) always look a bit shit if you are pixel peeping.
posting a nearly full sized image is enforced pixel peeping (note every photo regardless of camera or export size looks a bit shitty at 100% size if you view it in a web browser. would you view a 72dpi print from a foot away? this is more dramatic if you're used to retina display detail and get hit with the standard ppi from 1995 that is kicking around due to windows fucktards refusing to make a unilateral shift to up to date hardware)
Animal fur is too fine detail to look amazing when pixel peeping on lesser cameras, buy a gfx100s for your goats or stop zooming in. This is why every micro for losers poster shooting their cat shoots them almost wide open from 6 inches away.
