When I started doing street photography I often found myself reaching for my phone to get up close candid shots instead of using my camera. I found that a phone is much more inconspicuous. If you don't make it too obvious people will just assume that you're checking maps, taking a selfie, or texting a friend.
So to make the most of it, last month I ordered a Xiaomi 13 Ultra. I figured if I'm using a phone I might as well get the one with the best camera available.
Anyone here also uses smartphones for street photography? Are smartphones even taken seriously in this board?
