I spent a few years on phones and snapshits to learn the basics. I realized there is something about all this I really like so I picked up an olympus em5 & 12-45 F4 pro lens on sale for ridiculous money about $1200aud (750usd). Ive spent about a year with the camera learning all the settings. Its an amazing camera and I really like the results, some of which I will post in this thread. Despite that, I have come to the realization that I actually miss the dogshit little portables. I miss slipping them in my pocket. I miss the noise. Even with the olympus being so small, its still massive by comparison. Looking back, my crappy little sanyo actually looked a bit like film. I have a Sony HX60 and it's about as good picture quality as I need. I am seriously thinking about selling my olympus and going back to little snapshits and even buying a few more. I know I can get the money I paid for my olympus back.
