I have some REALLY shitty pictures taken with a Kodak DC20, some ancient bottom tier digicam from the 90's. It has TWO buttons, one for turning the camera on/off and the shutter button, everything else is absolutely automatic.

me too, DC20 had no screen, no memory cards, could take either 16 320x240 or 8 493x373 images, transfer by RS-232. The Kodak DC25 had the same sensor but you could use memory cards and had a screen. Here's one from my DC20.

I got this camera for 20 bucks in new condition during a shitty time in my life. I had a 2014 era sure shot and a new d7200 I used more so this thing barely got used before it fell off of a too high table onto the linoleum floor of the shitty overcrowded dorm at the school I transferred out of. Spent the summer I got it working too many hours at a retail job with no customers. Wish it made it with me to the school I transferred to in working order. Most of the pics are from like one party I went to before I transferred out of the school.

In 2005 I was still in school. Some kind of a technical high school I guess, in austria. We had one lecture about photoshop and a bit of photography and artistic elements and so on. For homework the theme was something like "photograph the school as you experience it"

Picked this one up at a camera sale. It belonged to the local news paper. They couldn't figure out why they wouldn't work so they were selling them for $10 each. So i bought two D2H and a D2Hs. They were trying to shoot without a CF card in them. Default setting is to not release the shutter unless there's a card installed.
Ignore the date, The D2H's clock battery does not charge off the regular battery like newer cameras and it forgets the time and date as soon as it goes to sleep again. Now I need to track down some CR1616 batteries.

This is so close to working for me. I'm not sure what the problem is exactly, but I suspect it's the depth of field and the artificial sharpness. I want something more dreamy and soft. It could also be the harsh mid-day light. this is a cool idea for a shot though
