>>4259150The more i use this goddamn ASR74 (or whatever in fuck they call it bc they cant bloody name their shit either) the more I’m convinced that Sony made/bought a good sensor production facility and produced sensors without ever taking a minute to consider hiring or even talking to a fucking camera designer, or maybe even camera user. This thing had the ergonomics of a dried turd. The menu is laid out utterly retardedly, navigates unintuitively, refers you to physical buttons that dont exist on the body, and the hardware buttons and knobs it does have seem to be flung in place entirely at random & make no consideration for where your fingers will be to operate them. The body edges are sharp and dig into your hand weirdly, and the finish is rough and coarse. It'd like a group of goddamn engineers designed this piece of shit on a whiteboard and then as soon as they figured out how to squeeze their bullet pointed feature list into it & make their numbers add up, just called it good enough & mass produced them bc what else is there to consider, thats everything they were taught in engineering school. Fuck those art school designfags amirite, and so we get 60mpx images out of a completely awful shooting experience. I’d honestly prefer going back to my old original 24mp Z6 rather than spend one more minute shooting with this piece of crap. The lowly Z6 has the qualities of being a camera, because it was made by a camera company that spent nearly a century learning how to design cameras. It is no surprise that Sony also wants to also nickel & dime us over batteries and gridlines and whatever else they can think of while they're at it. They’ve got to be looking ahead to the end of the little jump they got on the mirrorless era & starting to treat this as a cash grab before they get outpaced by companies that actually know wtf they're doing.
