IMO it isn't worth what it goes for on eBay but the MDII version I used to own had incredible build quality. Image quality was wonderful stopped down though slightly inferior to my older MC-X 50mm f1.4, using it wider than f2.8 makes it nearly impossible to handhold but I still managed to get wonderful shots with it like this.
I do have to state that the blur it provides is not that significant compared to the 50mm f1.4. A photographer can tell it's blurrier and has better separation along with a quite potent 3d pop in certain angles but the model might not even know what you're yapping about and think the 1.2 image is inferior as it is quite a bit less sharp than the 1.4.
For the price a decent MC-X 50mm 1.4 is currently going for I can't recommend the 50m f1.2 to anyone as I do see it as an inferior lens.
