Has anyone had any success selling their photos? Could be through prints, notecards, books, really anything.

I was recently gifted a book of bird photography created by someone who clearly threw all of his photos in regardless of their quality. It was a dog shit book, but it still sold. I'm wondering if I could make a little extra cash on the side with something similar.
