Looking to get back into photography. Came into a DSLR (Olympus e420) but the sensor has a bunch of dead pixels, so I don't want to deal with it.

I have a little background regarding composition, but I'm a complete amateur. My primary interest will be automotive photography, which will include static and action shots (i.e. local car meet, or race in action at local track). RTINGS says the X-S10 is a good place to start, and it does sound appealing due to IBIS, but might have middling autofocus. Another contender is the R100, but I'm solely basing these off of what rtings has said.
