>>4278641>recommending blue collar fields sports, weddings, real estate, motorsports, product, commercial, low tier portraiture, events... those are all shitty, godawful blue collar photography fields that are for people who want to stress around and work their ass off, doing snapshits for a well above average income, its not for people who actually wanna do photography for photography aka. to be a actual photographer.
if you want to work like an actual human being, relaxed, without stress, with tons of free time, with a free mind and soul to focus on your creativity and the job at hand, then shoot babies, pets, preggos or maybe try to get into automotive or fashion or maybe jump into high end portraiture or try to land a job in an agency doing documentary/film work starting with low tier documentary jobs, or maybe try travel photography for travel agencies... those are all white collar fields where you start with average income or in some cases lower than certain blue collar jobs like weddings, but the ceiling for income is waaaay bigger than any of the blue collar fields... like, MUCH bigger.
i started doing babies and pets as a side hustle, bringing in anywhere from 500 to 4000 a month and then slowly switched to portraits over the years as my name got out there and then i quit my job and now m chillin doing what i always wanted
