>>4279695no... besides learning and taking shots and growing, thats the EASIEST part (unless you take snapshits, then its the hardest part because nobody will want your shit art/work) the hardest is actually finding clients/people to work with, thats the fucking hardest, especially if you want to do portraits, fashion or similar... why? because for example, with events, weddings or pet photography, people will actually do ''looking for a photographer for XYZ'' on facebook, local ad websites, etc., so its MUCH easier (still hard as fuck) to find clients and ACTUALLY START doing shit... thats actually the only reason im doing weddings right now, i actually want to do portraits and fashion but after 4 years of looking for just a single fucking person that wants to make a portrait editorial set or do a fashion shoot, or even just a regular youtube photographer level portrait session, i couldnt find ONE, not ONE person. man or woman... meanwhile i saw hundreds of wedding/event posts all over... so now im a year into weddings, close to 2 years and i already sneaked in a shitload of good portrait shots and fashion style shots in my couples sets, so i can make a physical portfolio book, because soon im going to make my own website and take out a loan to buy my own studio and open a business.
despite having more options, its actually fucking hard to find work and even harder to actually start or find where the fuck to start. i know because i spent 4 years just looking for where to start and who to do my sets with and i found NO ONE and had to settle for doing weddings and sneaking in portrait/fashion shots in my weddings sets without couples realizing that i was doing those shots for myself not for them.
the entire photo industry is so oversaturated with artless, uncreative, business minded snapshitters and snapshitters in general, that its near impossible to start, let alone build up your career.
